Critical Thinking is a class about how to think. In particular, the class is focused on reasoning. Reasoning is a process of thinking through our beliefs and figuring out which views or beliefs we have good reasons to adopt. How we think impacts how we feel, how we choose, and ultimately how we live, so it is very important! This class invites us to think about how we think, and to practice thinking well. Thinking well involves thinking clearly and systematically, and asking the right questions. It means being willing to change our minds. This is also what it means to think critically. We will think critically together about a variety of issues.
