PHIL/POLI/ECON 384.003 – Gateway to Philosophy, Politics, and Economics
Instructor: Jonathan Anomaly. This course meets MW 4:40 – 5:55 p.m. in CW 105.
This interdisciplinary gateway course provides an introduction to the conceptual tools used to analyze problems at the intersection of philosophy, politics, and economics. Topics covered include the moral justification of markets, liberty and paternalism, distributive justice, and the use of economic models to understand the behavior of voters and policymakers.
All seats reserved for declared PPE minors. To officially declare the PPE minor, contact your academic advisor for assistance. This course is co-convened, and will meet half of the semester on UNC’s campus, and half of the semester on Duke’s campus.
