Instructor: Mariska Leunissen. This course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. in Caldwell 103.

This course serves as an introduction to philosophy in the western analytic tradition. We shall discuss some of the most significant problems in epistemology, the philosophy of mind, and ethics by analyzing some of the key historical and contemporary texts in these fields. The course will place a strong emphasis on learning how to read philosophical texts and how to assess and produce philosophically compelling arguments.
