PHIL 160.001 – Introduction to Ethics
Instructor: Lauren Townsend. This course meets MTWRF 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in CW 208.
This course will introduce students to several major ethical theories including Kantianism, utilitarianism, care ethics, and lesbian ethics as well as ethical issues surrounding race, gender, emotion, and sex. Students will practice skills of philosophical reasoning and writing through class discussion, written papers, and film analysis.
