PHIL 101.001 – Introduction to Philosophy: Central Problems, Great Minds, Big Ideas
Instructor: Jackson Bittick. This course meets MWF 9:05 – 9:55 a.m. in GS G010.
In this course, we will examine some philosophical issues discussed by both classical and modern philosophers. Why is there something rather than nothing? Do I see the world as it really is? What should I do with my time on Earth? Our aim will not be to come to any sure conclusions but rather to gain a deeper understanding of the questions themselves and the answers that some philosophers have provided to these questions.
