Hegel (PHIL 427.001)
Instructor: Gerald Postema. This course meets Wednesdays from 3:00PM – 5:30PM in Caldwell 213.
Hegel’s general philosophical views, with special attention to their application to matters of social and political philosophy. The primary text will be Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit, but some attention will also be paid to his early writings and to his Philosophy of Right.
Permission of the instructor is required for enrollment.
This course does not satisfy any general education requirements.
