Instructor: Karl Adam. This course meets MTWRF 9:45 – 11:15 a.m. in CW 103.

This is a course in practical ethics focusing on ethical issues surrounding war. Questions we will address include, among others:
is war ever morally justified? If so, under what circumstances?
What may soldiers, and other combatants, in a war morally do?
Does this depend on whether they are fighting on the just side of the war? And is terrorism ever morally justified?
