PHIL 282.001 – Human Rights: Philosophical Interrogations
Instructor: Brielle Balance. This course meets MWF 11:15 a.m. – 12:05 p.m. via remote synchronous (RS) instruction.
This course will explore philosophical questions on and related to human rights:
- The concept of a person
- What are human rights?
- How is the concept of a “human right” justified?
- Human rights cases in the real world
This is an introductory-level course. No previous philosophical experience is required nor expected.
