PHIL 110.001 – Philosophical Texts that Changed the World: An Introduction to Philosophy through Great Works
Instructor: Alan Nelson. This course meets TR 1:15 – 2:30 p.m. via remote synchronous (RS) instruction.
Introduction to philosophy through established, great works. Our reading will include works by Plato, Descartes, Proust, Wolff, Beauvoir, and Camus. We will also view some closely related films. Students will write some short reaction papers, a take-home mid-term essay exam, and a take-home essay Final Exam.
