Experience and Reality (PHIL 230)
Instructor: Kate Nolfi. This course meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 – 1:50 p.m. in Caldwell 103.
In this course we will explore four issues the have received a great deal of attention in historical and contemporary philosophy: free will, personal identity, the mind-body problem, and skepticism. Readings will be drawn from mostly contemporary sources. Students will be required to attend four smaller discussion group meetings over the course of the semester.
