PHIL/POLI/ECON 384.002 – Gateway to Philosophy, Politics, and Economics

Instructor: Alexandra Oprea. This course meets TR 2:00 – 3:15 p.m. in GA 210.

The Gateway course provides an introduction to the quantitative techniques, conceptual tools, and core principles of philosophy, political science, and economics. Topics covered in this particular session include game theory, the origins of political order, property rights, market failures, the moral limits of markets, distributive justice, paternalism, voting behavior, and the choice of electoral systems.
