PHIL 105.951 – Critical Thinking
Instructor: Aliosha Barranco Lopez. This course meets MW 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. in CW 103.
During this course, you will be introduced to different methods for identifying arguments that are being given in support of various conclusions. You will learn how to assess those arguments, and how to construct your own arguments. Topics will include argument reconstruction, informal logic, fallacies, introductory formal logic, and probabilistic reasoning.
