Instructor: Michaela Tiller. This course meets MTWRF 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in DE 302.

This course will teach the skills of critical reasoning necessary for analyzing texts, considering likelihoods and writing argumentative papers. Lectures will be in the form of online videos recorded by Professor Ram Neta at UNC Chapel Hill and Professor Walter Sinnott-Armstrong at Duke which will be watched in students’ own time, while class sessions will be spent on practical application. We will cover the basics of argument reconstruction, logic and probability.
