PHIL/WMST 275.001 – Moral and Philosophical Issues of Gender in Society
Instructor: Lauren Townsend. This course meets MTWRF 9:45 – 11:15 a.m. in CW 213.
This course will examine moral and philosophical issues around gender, with special attention to the ways that race, class, sexuality, and other intersecting identities play into gender identity and oppression. We will be practicing our skills of philosophical engagement to analyze theory, fiction, film, and real-life situations in both writing and discussion.
