This course will provide an introduction into some of the key problems of philosophy by exploring the great works of philosophers from ancient Greece to the 20th century. We will consider questions like the nature of the good, the existence of God, and how we can know things about the external world. This course has no prerequisites and will meet the PR requirement, while serving as an introduction into some of the greatest thinkers and most persistent questions throughout the history of philosophy.
