Duke course listing PS103: Prisoner’s Dilemma and Distributive Justice
Economic, political, and philosophical perspectives on distributive justice and the problems in each discipline raised by variations on the prisoner’s dilemma. Classic texts include Hobbes and Hume, Smith and Marx, Mill and Rawls. Gateway course to the Politics, Philosophy, and Economics certificate program.
This class meets at Duke for the first half of the semester (in Social Sciences 136*), then at UNC for the second half (in Greenlaw 101.)
Department permission is required for enrollment. Preference is given to those who have declared the PPE minor.
