Philosophical Issues in Feminism (PHIL 275.001)
Instructor: Susan Wolf. This course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 – 12:15 in Caldwell 105.
This course explores the ways a feminist perspective can change one’s perceptions of the world we live in and of the way we think about such notions as equality, justice, oppression, and consent. Topics include the structure of the workplace, sexist language, ideals of female beauty, sex roles and stereotypes, pornography and rape.
