PHIL/POLI/ECON 384.002 – Gateway to Philosophy, Politics, and Economics
Instructor: Fabian Wendt. This course meets MWF 12:20 – 1:10 p.m. in CW 105.
This class is an interdisciplinary introduction to the study of philosophy, politics and economics. Based on ideas and conceptual tools from political economy, political philosophy, game theory, public choice theory and social choice theory we will discuss topics like distributive justice, sweatshops, price gauging, voting, rent-seeking, nudging, public goods or the evolution of social norms.
Recommended prerequisite: 1 ECON course.
