Introduction to Philosophy: Main Problems (PHIL 101/002)
Instructor: David Frost. This course meets Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in Caldwell 103.
In this course, we survey four issues in the philosophical literature: skepticism about the existence of the external world, the problem of free will and determinism, the mind-body problem and, finally, new empirical explanations of morality. The course is discussion-intensive and writing-intensive.
