Existentialism is a philosophical movement that has had a profound impact on art, literature, psychology, and politics. This course invites you to delve into the core ideas and key thinkers of existentialism, examining how this thought-provoking philosophy continues to shape our understanding of human existence. We will be reading key texts from philosophers such as Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Sartre, and De Beauvoir as well as exploring existentialist themes in novels and film.
