Introduction to Philosophy: Main Problems (PHIL 101.002)
Instructor: Wesley Sauret. This course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. in Caldwell 103.
Do we have free will? What is the relation between the mind and the body? What makes death bad for us? What does this mean for abortion and how we treat animals? This course will address these questions and other similar questions. We will be reading a selection of contemporary work on these issues.
