Instructor: James Brantner. This course meets on MWF 11:00 – 11:50 a.m. in CW 105.

This course will provide an introduction to philosophy through a survey of many of the main problems throughout the discipline, from ethics and political philosophy to epistemology and metaphysics. This course has no prerequisites and is designed for students with no background in philosophy, although students with a philosophy background are welcome. For students who are interested in pursuing philosophy further, this course will provide a taste of a wide range of problems, allowing students to leave with a better understanding of which areas they would like to study in more detail in the future.
