Beginnings of Analytic Philosophy (PHIL 432)
Instructor: Ram Neta. This seminar meets on Tuesdays from 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. in Peabody 216.
A study of some seminal works of early analytic philosophy, focusing on the writings of Gottlob Frege, Bertrand Russell, G.E. Moore, A.J. Ayer, and Rudolf Carnap. Prerequisites: two courses in philosophy other than PHIL 155 or permission of the instructor.
This course meets the ME requirement.
