PHIL 710.001 – Advanced Studies in Ancient Philosophy
Instructor: C.D.C. Reeve. This course meets W 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. via synchronous remote instruction.
A sophisticated introduction to Aristotle’s metaphysics, broadly conceived, covering topics primarily in the Physics, De Anima, and Metaphysics, but looking also at texts drawn from a wide selection of other works.
Please note: This course counts toward the “history of philosophy” distribution requirement for PHIL grad students.
Permission of the instructor is required to enroll in this course. PHIL grad students are exempt from this enrollment requirement.
