Graduate Student
Second-Year

Caldwell Hall, 107D
iancho@unc.edu

Ian is a second-year graduate student with interests in epistemology, metaethics, early modern philosophy, and philosophy of religion. Before coming to UNC, he earned a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and an MAR in Philosophy of Religion from Yale. When tired of philosophizing, Ian likes to play soccer and watch soccer games. A die-hard fan of Arsenal FC, he believes each year that, against all odds, his beloved club will (finally) be crowned the champions of the Premier League, even if it’s merely wishful thinking (Ian’s favorite fallacy). Nothing brings a wider grin to his face than engaging in frivolous and light-hearted banter while enjoying meals and drinks with friends.
