Yifan Li is a sixth-year graduate student. He received his BA degree from Wuhan University, China, and his MA degree from Columbia University, New York. His primary interest in philosophy has been about human cognition and action, which is a topic that lies at the intersection of philosophy of mind, epistemology, philosophy of action, and (perhaps most importantly) contemporary science about mind and brain. Recently, he has also been attracted to the problem in philosophy of mathematics, especially in the possibility of a fictionalist theory about the explanatory role of maths. Other than philosophy, Li enjoys playing video games (and board games), and watching animations and comics. He would be a more orthodox nerd, had he not also loved drinking and chatting with his friends.
