Cancelled: Philosophical Issues in Psychiatry Reading Group

March 5, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

** Tonight’s PPRG meeting has been cancelled due to a winter weather advisory.  **
The presentation by Elizabeth (Lizzie) Schecter (Washington University in St. Louis) “On the Possibility of Pluralindividualism”  will be postponed. Dr. Schecter will present her paper to PPRG on Thursday, May 7.The new plan for next week’s meeting (Thursday, March 5 in room 213 of Caldwell Hall) is to discuss Benjamin Kozuch and Michael McKenna’s “Free Will, Moral Responsibility, and Mental Illness” and Chandra Sripada’s commentary on it, entitled, “Mental Illness, Moral Responsibility, and Expression of the Self.” This fascinating exchange is forthcoming in Moseley and Gala’s Philosophy and Psychiatry: Problems, Intersections and New Perspectives (Routledge).
Please contact Dan Moseley if you plan to attend the meeting and would like a copy of the paper.
