For this Ethics Around the Table lecture, Kim Strom-Gottfried will present, “Am I My Colleague’s Keeper?”
Abstract:
What is our responsibility when a colleague demonstrates unethical, incompetent, or impaired behavior? What personal and  organizational  barriers prevent action? How can concerned individuals act effectively to address their concerns? Building on the literature about professional misconduct and the concepts around moral courage, this session will consider the opportunities and impediments to action, and offer strategies and resources for sensitively and affectively addressing troubling conduct.
