PHIL/POLI/ECON 698.001 – Philosophy, Politics, and Economics: Capstone Course

Instructor: Daniel Muñoz. This course meets TR 2:00 – 3:15 p.m. in MY G205.

A lot of systems in our society—systems we depend on—are broken. How do you fix a broken system? What if you want to replace it entirely? This Capstone looks at the PPE of reform, with a focus on policies related to death, drugs, and taxes. We’ll also be watching Season 3 of the classic HBO series The Wire; students may wish to watch the first two seasons before the start of classes.

This course is for graduating senior PPE minors who have (1) taken the 384 Gateway course and (2) have taken (or are taking) all other courses necessary to complete the PPE minor.
