Kara received an MA in philosophy from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a BA in philosophy from Truman State University. She is a second-year graduate student whose main areas of interest are epistemology and normativity, especially the intersection of the two. Kara is particularly interested in understanding our evaluative lives in the context of our evolutionary history. Kara’s secondary interests include philosophy of humor and philosophy of horror. When she is not studying philosophy, Kara enjoys watching horror and science-fiction movies, listening to an eclectic range of music, and learning about evidence-based skincare.
