Felix is currently a third-year Ph.D. student in the Philosophy Department. His main research interests are in contemporary metaphysics, including a range of topics pertaining to ontology and meta-ontology, the history of analytic philosophy, mereology, and the nature of time, identity, and persistence. He’s secondary interests are in philosophical logic, philosophy of language, and philosophy of science. He earned his B.A. in philosophy from Rhode Island College, and his M.A. in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He’s written two master’s theses, one on the metaphysics of personal identity (at UW-Milwaukee), and the other on the metaphysics of time (at UNC-Chapel Hill). When not doing philosophy, he is usually reading its history.
