Eric is a fourth-year graduate student with a BA in philosophy from the University of Tennessee and an MA in philosophy from Texas Tech. He spent three years in the PhD program at the University of Wisconsin before coming to UNC.

His research concerns the question of how we ought to think about the status of normative inquiry (e.g., ethics, epistemology, political philosophy) given that philosophers–widely regarded as the group best-placed to come to justified conclusions about normative questions–have never, and likely will never, agree about the correct answers.
