I am a second-year graduate student. My main areas of interest are in ethics. I am particularly interested in approaching applied ethical questions from a virtue theoretical perspective. I also am interested in developing publicly engaged philosophy. I plan to pursue projects for broad audiences that tackle some of the many questions we face as we build public spaces and enrich our shared lives.
Before coming to UNC, I received my BA in philosophy and English at Mount St. Mary’s University and my MA in applied philosophy and ethics at Texas State University.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading novels, trying out new recipes, visiting with friends and family over tea, and traveling as much as possible.
