“Science and ‘Science’: on Demarcation and Definition”

The problem of how to distinguish between science and non-science — the demarcation problem — has resisted solution. In this paper, I attempt to make headway by breaking the problem into a variety of smaller projects. My modest suggestions will take us into questions of semantics and methodology.
