We are very pleased to announce that two of our graduate students, DeeAnn Spicer and Pavel Nitchovski, have won Tanner Teaching Awards! These are UNC’s highest awards for graduate-student teachers. Only five winners from across the entire university are selected each year. We have had so many wonderful teachers among our graduate students, and Philosophy graduate students have accordingly done very well indeed in winning these awards, but I cannot recall a year where two won.
