Instructor: Caleb Harrison. This course meets TR 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in CW 105.

This course will explore moral and philosophical issues at the intersection of the bio-medical sciences and human life. We will explore these issues at different stages of life: birth (e.g., abortion, three-person IVF, cloning), life (e.g., life-extension therapies, performance-enhancing drugs), and death (e.g., euthanasia, end of life care). In the background of our exploration will be a central question: what is a good human life?
