PHIL 412.001 – Plato

Instructor: C.D.C. Reeve. This course meets W 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. in CW 213.

Our focus will be on Plato’s Republic and on the sort of ethical theory that is developed in it, and our method will be close reading of the text, and of some secondary sources.
