Teemu Toppinen
Visiting Graduate Student

Teemu Toppinen will be visiting UNC-CH during the 2005/2006 academic year. He is a third-year postgraduate student at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Currently he is working on his Ph.D thesis in which he defends a non-cognitivist/expressivist (or as he sometimes likes to put it, conativist) account of normative judgements. Teemu's publications include "Moral Fetishism Revisited" (Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society, 2004), and among his recent presentations are "The Passions that Rule" (Joint Session, 2005) and "No Harm Done in the Expressivist Circles." (Pacific APA, 2005)
