Jeff Sebo (PhD 2011, NYU) is Research Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Associate Director of the Parr Center for Ethics. He joined the department in 2015, following positions in Bioethics at the NIH and Animal Studies and Environmental Studies at NYU. He specializes in moral, social, and political philosophy and bioethics, animal ethics, and environmental ethics, and he is currently working on several projects related to agency, identity, moral and political status, and the ethics of activism and advocacy.
