Take a Philosopher to Lunch - Department of Philosophy

Please consider participating in our Take a Philosopher to Lunch Program!

You and one or two friends can invite a Philosophy Department faculty member or Philosophy Department graduate student to lunch anywhere within walking distance (e.g. Lenoir, Franklin Street) and the Philosophy Department will pay the bill, up to $10 per person. The budget is limited, so only a limited number of lunches can be funded. To sign up, send an email to the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Professor Markus Kohl (mkohl17@email.unc.edu), with the names of the two or three students doing the inviting, and he’ll let you know whether there are still funds left. Then invite the Philosophy Department member of your choice!
