Leonard Kahn will be visiting UNC-CH during the 2005-2006 academic year from Oxford University (Magdalen College). Leonard specializes in ethics, and his other philosophical interests include applied ethics (especially bioethics), political philosophy, ancient Greek philosophy, and the philosophy of language and mind. He is currently working on theories of the good and the right. His most recent presentations are Does Virtue Ethics Have the Right Stuff? (Eastern Division Meeting of the American Philosophical Association) and The Demon Strikes Out (Central Division Meeting of the American Philosophical Association).
