Instructor: David Reeve. This course meets Mondays 3:00PM – 5:30PM in Caldwell 213.

This year the class is being co-taught with Michael Ferejohn (Duke) and will have a series of distinguished visitors, including Klaus Corcilius (Berkeley), Katja Vogt (Columbia), and Christiana Olfert (Tufts). The focus will beNicomachean Ethics Books I-VI, especially on the virtues of character and thought.

Please note: Only advanced undergraduates who have taken at least one logic course and 2 philosophy courses, scoring an average grade of A-, are eligible to take the course. Some background in ancient philosophy is strongly recommended. Underclassmen who meet the pre-reqs should contact the instructor for permission to enroll.
