Lecture Series: The Critique of Pure Reason of Immanuel Kant

Professor Wolff will offer a series of fourteen lectures on Kant’s First Critique. Each lecture will meet on Monday afternoon from 1pm-2:45pm in Caldwell room 213, beginning Monday August 29. The lectures are open to all serious students of Philosophy willing to invest their time and energy in the project. Participants will be expected to read the Critique as the lectures progress. There will be no other requirements, but those interested in participating are asked to make a semester-long commitment in order to achieve continuity. The lectures will be video-recorded and posted on YouTube as the semester progresses. Those participating are assumed to understand and agree that their questions or comments may be made public in this manner.

We will use the Norman Kemp Smith translation of the Critique available from amazon.com and on Kindle.
