Additional Information

Lodging: We have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western University Inn, located on Raleigh Road just west of the Aurora Restaurant. Per night the rooms are $76 for a queen bed and $82 for double beds. A continental breakfast will be included. To get this rate you must call the local reservation number: (919) 932-3000 and mention that you are booking a room for the conference sponsored by the UNC Philosophy Department. About 15 rooms will be held for us until March 16. We can probably accomodate a few of you in the homes of faculty and graduate students if you are on a tight budget.

Transportation: Raleigh-Durham Airport is the commercial airport nearest to Chapel Hill. Taxi and limousine service to Chapel Hill is available.

Aurora Restaurant is practically adjacent to the University Inn, so those of you staying at the University Inn can walk to and from the paper and party on Friday night and to dinner on Saturday evening.

Dey Hall is located on the central part of UNC campus. This is around a mile from the University Inn, so we will arrange for transportation to the campus on Saturday morning.

We will also provide round-trip transportation to Pegasus Farm for lunch and to the after-dinner party.
