At its annual meeting, the NC Philosophical Society awards essay prizes. This year, UNC-CH undergraduate philosophy major, Jake Rohde, received the 2015 Undergraduate Essay Prize for his paper, “Plato and the Tripartite Analysis of Knowledge”. Jake wrote this paper for Prof. James Lesher’s PHIL 210H course in spring 2014. Jake will be presenting his award-winning paper at this year’s NC Philosophy Society annual meeting in February.
