Funding to take your philosophy teacher to lunch
Would you like to have food and conversation with one of your philosophy professors, instructors, or TAs, on the Philosophy Department’s tab?
You and one or two friends can invite a Philosophy faculty member or grad student to lunch anywhere within walking distance (e.g. Lenoir, Franklin Street) and the Philosophy Department will pay the bill, up to $10 per person.
The budget is limited, so only a limited number of lunches can be funded. To sign up, send an email to the Director of Undergraduate Studies, John Roberts (johnroberts@unc.edu), with the names of the two or three students doing the inviting, and he’ll let you know whether there are still funds left. Then invite the philosopher of your choice.
